Oktoberfest is the last major celebration of the year and highlights the German heritage of the Golden area.
Enjoy a traditional noon German meal featuring grilled Windmill Pork Chops, bratwursts, red cabbage, potatoes and gravy, assorted salads and decadent homemade desserts.
Serving starts at 11:00 AM and continues until 1:30 PM or until the food runs out.
Oktoberfest marks the end of the 2008 tour season and is the last day that the Prairie Mills Windmill and Golden Museum are routinely open for tours.
After Oktoberfest, tours are available by appointment until the start of the 2009 tour season on May 2, 2009.
